White skin has always been highly prized as an accent to beauty for Japanese women. The recent availability of non-invasive anti-aging cosmetic surgery has opened doors for women of all ages, as well as for men, to improve their natural looks - lucent smooth skin and younger appearance. In a society where appearance is as important as the merchandise itself, the non-invasive cosmetic surgery to beautify an individual has surged in popularity in the last year.
Dr. Nakayama, who is both an urologist and a dermatologist, runs his own hospital in Kudamatsu, Yamaguchi. He expressed his interest in extending service to include cosmetic surgery four years ago due to the desire in helping his patients to fulfill their ultimate wish - to attain beautiful skin. A: Usually we recommend chemical peel for surface skin treatment. Afterwards, we use the machine, Syneron Aurora, to reduce acne scars, facial hair, browns, spider veins and to lighten the skin. For skin resurfacing and longer lasting results, we use Polaris (W)rinkle (R)eduction. It removes crows feet around the eyes, smokers lines around the mouth and other fine lines. It also tightens the skin. Most of our customers opt for the use of both machines to rejuvenate and lighten the skin.
Q: What is the recommended number of times to get the full effect of the skin treatment?
A: Depending on age, we recommend 3 to 6 times for the full treatment. However, if the client wants to maintain the youthful looking skin, we ask them to continue treatment once a month.
