The Birthers Strike Again

The Birthers are once again attacking
and this time it's against Romney they are cracking.
They say it was not in the U.S.A. he saw the light of day
but in another country not far away.

They claim he was smuggled into the land
in a plot that was very carefully planned.
The babe was brought in when fast asleep
in an orange box tied to the top of the family Jeep.

They also assert there should be no mistake
that any birth certificate he presents will be a fake.
While Mitt will flip and flop to please any crowd
it's hard to believe as a forger he is endowed.

Since the crackpots have decided Ron Paul has no chance,
they are not interested in giving his birth certificate a glance.
Because they think he is so far behind
prying into his birthplace would be unkind.

It should not be considered a question satirical
to ask whether Rick Santorum's birth was really a miracle.
With all the holy crap that he utters he resembles the mad hatter
so wherever he was born does not really matter.

Then there is the guy known as Newt
whose meaningless prattling most people refute.
And many are convinced that Gingrich's birth
did not take place on our planet Earth.  

Not a word is now being heard from Birther-in-Chief Donald Trump
whose family name was originally Drumpt.
Perhaps he is busy trying to save his name
as his macho sons are in Africa slaughtering wild game.

I am faced with a puzzle that leaves me forlorn:
what the heck does it mean to be "natural born".
